RE: The Christian Mystery – Lecture 2
Hi Southern Cross Review,
Steiner, not Christ, is pretty much a mystery to me. In "Just as there has to be a mineral world so that the plant world may exist, so did the apostles have to exist for the Christ Jesus to be there,” he seems to be citing, without acknowledging it, Jewish thinking, right? Based on the OT. What nonsense. Jesus Christ grew the apostles, one by one, as is clear from the NT. Only on that basis does this quote make perfect sense: "The servant is no greater than his lord.” Steiner is a good example of the German tendency of over-complicating things and be mystified by that activity, an irreversible cycle leading to ultimate obfuscation of what the point might have been. To me, what can’t be said with clarity seems not worth saying at all.

Dear Frank,
You may be interested in a related, and equally moving speech, given
today at the 80th anniversary of the Yalta Conference. It was given by
the musician Roger Waters (Pink Floyd).

I appreciate your article on Israel, daring to be slandered for antisemitism. In my teenage years I also read Leon URI’s (Zionist propaganda) “Exodus”, enjoyed Israeli folk dances, after agriculture school wanted to spend time at a kibbutz, went to the Israeli embassy only to be rejected (probably my name Christoph did not sound very Jewish). However, the daring and very effective raid on February 7th by Hamas opened the world’s eyes to Zionist fascism, negating the compassion with Nazi holocaust ordeal.

Either black or white.
Too bad. So many shades of grey where solutions might be found. By the way, many of Dr. Steiner’s followers were Jewish, like my uncle, Otto Lundborg-Fränkl.
There is a fine book about them by Fred Paddock.

RE: Artificial Anthroposophical Society – Continuation
Greetings,
That's basically it, in a nutshell. Thanks. So many of us "wasted" a lot of time to painfully come to a similar conclusion. After many years and even after leaving the society.
